Architect. 

Your Architect will be able to guide you through the process of building you dream home. He will also advise you to whom appoint as a Structural Engineer. It is important to get Contractor references from your Architect. Pending on your Budget it is advisable to appoint your Architect to oversee your project. The Architect than services the role of Principal Agent.

 Finding the right Contactor. 

The best way in obtaining the right Contractor for you is to: 

Ask your Architect to advise in obtaining at least three Contractor names. 

Alternatively ask the appointed Engineer for Contractor references. The structural Engineer makes a couple of visits to site on each project and is aware of the Quality of work from most Contractors.

1.     Site Clearing and Level Excavations

2.     Foundation set out and Excavations.

3.     Foundation Steel, Concrete cast.

4.     Foundations Brickwork.

5.     Surfacebed prep, and backfill, compacting,  dpc insulation, steel ref 193, fix electrical conduit, plumbing lines and 25mpa readymix concrete.

6.     Brickwork Ground floor.

7.     First Floor Slab and Stairs

8.     Brickwork First Floor 

9.     Roofing

10.    Electrical and Plumbing chase work.

11. Aluminium Windows and Doors

12. Plaster and Screed

13. Ceilings 

14. Paint

15. Fix all internal Cuboards, Electrical Fittings and Sanitryware.

16. All external works.
